Browsec server IPs: live list and detection

Jurisdiction: United States. Protocols: IKEv2/IPsec, Xray, HTTPS proxy (extension).

Live Browsec server list

2,043 Browsecserver addresses are loaded right now from the provider's own published list, refreshed every few hours. A few of them:

Counts and samples for every provider are in the free VPN providers dataset (CC-BY 4.0).

    Detection rate: Very high (99–100%)

Browsec publishes its server list, and iplogs.com loads it every few hours: 2,043 addresses right now. Each one is matched exactly, so a listed server is never missed. On our published benchmark this tier caught 500 of 500 Mullvad servers.

Rates are estimates per detection tier — see the published ground-truth benchmark for the measured methodology.

    About Browsec

Browsec is a US-based VPN best known for its browser extension, which works as an HTTPS proxy; its mobile and desktop apps use IKEv2/IPsec and Xray. The free plan has no traffic cap, and the provider says it serves more than 46 locations. iplogs.com refreshes Browsec's server addresses every 6 hours, including the IPsec servers its apps connect to, so a listed server matches exactly. HTTP proxy handshakes and IKEv2 probes catch servers that appear between refreshes.

Will Browsec get me banned from Netflix, Stripe, or sneaker sites?

Detection by a service does not always equal a hard ban — most services step up authentication, throttle, or shadow-block. Here is what to expect across common surfaces:

Streaming (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, BBC iPlayer)

Browsec exits are routinely on the geo-evasion blocklists used by major streaming services. Expect "VPN detected" interstitials on most catalog regions.

Sneaker / drop sites (Nike SNKRS, Adidas Confirmed, Shopify queues)

Yes — likely flagged. Most sneaker bot-protection vendors use commercial VPN aggregator feeds; Browsec traffic is normally either blocked outright or fast-laned into the bot queue.

    Payments (Stripe Radar, Adyen, PayPal)

Almost always step-up. Stripe Radar specifically scores VPN/proxy IPs as elevated risk. Browsec doesn't auto-decline you, but expect more 3DS challenges.

    Reddit / Twitter / Discord (signup, age-gate)

Often blocked at signup. Account-recovery and posting from Browsec usually requires phone verification.

    Banking apps & KYC providers

Almost universally flagged. KYC vendors (Persona, Onfido, Sumsub) treat Browsec as elevated fraud risk regardless of detection accuracy.

    How IPLogs detects Browsec

Detection fires on any combination of the following signals:

    • vpn_relay_list
    • active_probe_ikev2
    • active_probe_http_connect
    • active_probe_vpn_node_health

    Supported protocols

    • IKEv2/IPsec
    • Xray
    • HTTPS proxy (extension)

    Check a specific Browsec IP

Paste any suspected Browsec IP into the home-page checker, or hit the API directly:

    curl -X POST https://iplogs.com/v1/check \
      -H 'content-type: application/json' \
      -d '{"ip":"<Browsec IP>"}'

The response includes vpn_provider (set to "Browsec" for a confirmed exit) and vpn_provider_sources[] listing the kinds of evidence that matched.

    Frequently asked questions about Browsec

    +Is Browsec detectable in 2026?

very high detection rate (99–100%). Browsec publishes its server list, and iplogs.com loads it every few hours: 2,043 addresses right now. Each one is matched exactly, so a listed server is never missed. On our published benchmark this tier caught 500 of 500 Mullvad servers.

+Will Browsec get me banned from Netflix, sneaker sites, or banking apps?

Streaming and sneaker queues regularly block commercial VPN exits — including Browsec's. Banking and KYC vendors almost always flag it as elevated risk. For everyday browsing it's fine; for any account-creation, payment, or geo-restricted streaming, expect step-up auth or outright blocks.

+How many Browsec IPs does IPLogs cover?

2,043 addresses right now: every server on Browsec's published list, IPv4 and IPv6, refreshed every few hours.

    +Does Browsec use residential IPs?

No. Browsec runs on datacenter / hosting infrastructure (typical for commercial VPNs). Some providers rent partner-datacenter capacity, but the underlying IPs are still hosting-classified — that's how aggregator feeds catch them.

+How do I detect Browsec on my own site?

Hit the IPLogs public API: `POST https://iplogs.com/v1/check` with body `{"ip":"<visitor-ip>"}`. The response includes `vpn_provider` (set to "Browsec" for a confirmed exit) and `vpn_provider_sources[]` listing the kinds of evidence that matched. See /docs for client examples in curl, Python, Node.js, and Go.

+Can I block Browsec traffic without blocking legitimate users?

Yes — block at sensitive write paths only (signup, payments, password reset). Allow read traffic, and step up authentication when the verdict is vpn_detected. See our copy-paste recipes for Cloudflare WAF, Nginx, and Stripe Radar at /guides/block-vpn-traffic.
